Discrimination

Some people are discriminated by their appearance. The more brilliant people in the world, normally, did not have a commom appearance. To make a concept only by somebody appearance is one of the worse mistakes that the human being can commit. The concept of good appearance varies from person to person. Good appearance is a subjective and composed concept of some dimensions. In equality of ability, nor always the beauty is the decisive factor. Unfortunately, the good presentation, the affection and the good ways count so much to get a job.

Black , White or Yellow People: Just People!

Black people became slaves in the American Colonies during the sixteenth century. The slaves were bought by landowners to work in large cotton plantations and crops or in mines. These plantations needed many workers to take care of the farms. Other slaves worked as servants and they had to do domestic tasks.

The slaves were blacks who had come West African coast by ships in barbarous condition. Many slaves were humiliated by landowners and they suffered enough.

The legacy of the slavery is the discrimination. The discrimination has been a great evil on the human relations for many years, since the time of the slavery until the present, because the skin color or other stereotypes.

But many Afro Americans could proved that are winners because of their talent, not because of their color, and they have been able to win the barrier of the discrimination, like for example Martin Luther King was a pastor and politician activist who fought for the civil laws through a campaign of not-violence and love to the next one.

Before everything, the black or white or yellow people need to be seen as human. The people have feelings, dreams and a great transforming power. But it remains to know if the desire is come back toward the good or bad things.

TEX-MEX CUISINE

Tex-Mex is a term used to describe American food created by or influenced by Mexican -Americans. These food may not be similar to food found in Mexico, altough it is common for all of them to be referred to as Mexican food in the United States and in some other countries.

From the South Texas region between San Antonio to Brownsville, this cuisine has had little variation and from earliest times has always been influenced by the cooking in the neighboring northern states of Mexico. The ranching culture of South Texas and Northern Mexico straddles both sides of the border.

In the twentieth century, Tex-Mex took on such Americanized elements as yellow cheese as goods from the United States became cheap and readily available.

The ingredients used are common in Mexican cuisine, although ingredients unknown in Mexico are often added.

Tex-Mex cuisine is characterized by its heavy use of meat (particularly beef), beans, and spices in addition to Mexican-style tortillas ( corn ou flour), fried or baked. Nachos, crispy tacos, crispy chalupas, chili con queso, chili con carne, chili gravy, and fajitas are all Tex-Mex inventions. Serving tortilla chips and a hot sauce or salsa as an appetizer is also an original Tex-Mex combination.
